Description

The WikiCollection Competition, organized by Wikimedia UAE, focuses on documenting cultural and historical collections such as coins, stamps, banknotes, and postcards. The goal is to enrich Wikimedia’s coverage of these items across Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons. Teams of 3 to 5 participants create articles, lists, and media uploads related to collectibles. Contributions are evaluated based on information quality, use of reliable sources, and technical aspects like image quality.
