LinguaLibre is a Wikimedia Foundation project aimed at recording and preserving the pronunciation of words and phrases in various languages. It focuses on protecting endangered languages by providing a platform for speakers to record their pronunciation and share it with the community. These recordings are used in projects such as Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons to provide accurate audio language resources. The project contributes to promoting language learning and preserving linguistic diversity for future generations.
